Welcome to Hancock Park

The Scoop

One of the first neighborhoods developed in Los Angeles, Hancock Park has an old school California is home to some of the most well-preserved early twentieth century architecture in the city. Stately English Tudor, Spanish and Traditional homes sit proudly on large lots and tree-lined streets. The Hancock Park historical committee limits what can and can’t be done in the way of renovating the old architecture … the stringent limits have worked, for many of the streets still feel like they hail from the 1920s.

The Vibe

Despite the grand architecture, Hancock Park has a laid-back vibe. It’s long been a bastion for writers and creative types, and is known for its welcoming vibe to all types.
